It's not just what you eat but when you eat it that either helps or hinders you from losing weight.
A Northwestern University study finds that eating at odd times, like in the middle of the night, impacts weight gain. Researchers fed two groups of mice the same high fat diet and allowed them to get the same amount of exercise. The only difference was, one group ate during normal sleeping hours. That group increased their weight by 48% compared with just 20% for the other group that ate during the day.
