In Washington, Brownsville ICE agent Jaime Zapata's name is on a border security bill heading toward a committee vote.
The Jaime Zapata Border Enforcement Security Task Force Act of 2011 was voted out of subcommittee and now it's going to the Homeland Security Committee for a vote. It would create what are called Best Units to improve security along the border. Zapata was killed during an apparent cartel attack as he traveled in Mexico in February.
