TxDOT To Use Social Networking Sites to Post Emergency Information

If a hurricane does threaten our area TxDOT will be using social networking sites to post emergency information.

This hurricane season TxDOT will rely on Twitter and Facebook to communicate storm preparations and highway conditions. Officials say the number of fans and follwers have increased over the years and the sites are an effective tool. TxDOT says they'll post a variety of information on both sites.
