Four men and a woman were arrested on Monday morning after firing a weapon within city limits.
Brownsville police responded to an apartment complex off of Paredes Line road on Monday and police report that as a unit arrived to the location the suspects ran inside to an apartment. After police were allowed to enter the apartment by Nancy Elizondo police did a search of the apartment and found four men hiding. Police also found a handgun hidden under a sofa cushion along with several empty casings in the living room. The four men and Elizondo were arrested for discharging firearms inside the city limits.
