$7 Million Dollars of Federal Funding Awarded to Three Valley Cities

More than $7 million dollars from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development was given to three Valley cities.

The presentation of checks were at Congressman Henry Cuellar's office in Mission. The City of Alton, Hidalgo and Palmview received the funds. The City of Alton will use the funds to construct a new fire station and the City of Hidalgo will utilize the money to construct a new wastewater treatment plant. Palmview plans to use the money by helping small and emerging business.
