Each week we bring you stories of children battling life threatening illnesses and watch as their wishes turn into reality.
This week we bring you a wish come true for 13 year-old Genesis Garza. The Edinburg teen is battling leukemia and has a love for art. Because of her talents, she wished for a computer with art software for her artistic side and something she could play games on and do school work. Her mom brought her to Mr. Gattis where wish granters Marilyn Olivarez, Andrea Casas and Gloria Morin waited with several colorful gifts. The gifts brought Genesis tears of joy and she got to spend the rest of the afternoon playing games and enjoying food from Mr. Gattis.
