Commercial trucks were inspected by Mission police on Wednesday to make sure they're up to code.
The program has been in existence for nearly two years and conducts 32 inspections a year by Mission police and the Department of Public Safety. This is a way to make sure commercial trucks are in good condition for the roadways. Mission police will soon do this on a regular basis once commercial trucks enter through the Anzalduas bridge.
