In Weslaco, Federal Aviation officials concluded their field investigation Sunday at the site of the deadly plane crash that happened Friday.
The crash left a Brownsville pastor dead and another person injured. Preliminary investigation shows that flight controls were in proper landing configuration, meaning at this point that there are no signs the plane's equipment was defective or malfunctioned. Officials are still trying to determine what exactly made the plane go down leaving a church without it's pastor. On Monday Julio Olivo spoke to members of the New Harvest Church where Ralph Copeland preached.
Family members are asking that instead of flowers, donations to the New Harvest Ministries be made at 2150 El Jardin road.
