In Brownsville, Carla Ramos pleaded guilty to burglary of a habitation in court on Tuesday.
27 year-old Carla Ramos, who was found not guilty of murdering 76 year-old Carmen Jacobson, but had other charges against her including burglary of habitation, robbery, and theft from an elderly person. Ramos agreed to plead guilty to the burglary of habitation charge in exchange for a sentencing recommendation from the state. She was sentenced to three years in prison.
