BROWNSVILLE - New businesses could be coming to the city of Brownsville.
More than 30 investors from Mexico are looking to open a business of their own in Brownsville area. To understand the city, they were given a tour on Monday.
They were shown examples of small and large businesses.
Some of the investors included engineers, manufacturers, and printing shop owners.
Commissioner Edward Camarillo says some of these businesses could be opening very soon.
"Some are actually going through the process of permitting and visa information, so in the next 3-6 months we may see some activity occur in Brownsville when they do we will work with them to help them get open have a grand open and let the public know they are open for business," said Camarillo.
