Sheriff investigators made the arrests late Friday evening and now the three men are charged with Capital Murder.
Alfredo Castañeda was already in jail for another case. Now he's being linked to the murder of Rio Hondo Intermediate School teacher, Sonia Perez.
His son, 21-year-old, Daniel Castañeda, and 22-year-old, Mark Daniel Garza, are the new suspects arrested over the weekend.
The trio was arraigned Saturday morning and each were charged with Capital Murder.
New court documents release more details on the group's involvement in the teacher's murder. It appears Castañeda gave the suspected shooter, Daniel Lopez, a ride to a supermarket in Rio Hondo where they met Garza who gave Lopez the gun he used for the shooting.

"The others had probably more to do with the act. These people were either principles or conspiracies or perhaps after the crime had been committed. They assisted in some way or another."
After Lopez shot and killed Perez, court documents state he called for a ride home. That’s where Alfredo Castañeda’s involvement comes in. Castañeda gave Lopez a ride home and on the way, Lopez told him he killed the teacher and showed him her cell phone. Lopez allegedly gave Castaneda $200 for the ride.
"The good thing is that we've been able to go ahead and clarify and cleared and pick up all those people that are involved. That’s the main thing."
The sheriff's department has arrested six men in total. The Rio Hondo teacher was killed more than two weeks ago inside her van. Authorities believe a life insurance policy may have been the motive for the murder.
The three men are being held in county jail on a $1 million bond.
