Governor Rick Perry along with Harlingen Mayor Chris Boswell welcomed a health care company to the Valley that promises to bring hundreds of jobs.
United Health Group is slated to begin operating in late summer or early fall of 2009 and will initially employ between 100 to 150 employees. The potential to grow up to 250 full-time and part-time employees by the end of 2009. The company hopes to eventually grow to hire more than 700 employees over the next five years.
