Jury selection will continue on Wednesday for the capital murder case against Carmen Ramos.
The Cameron County District Attorney's Office is seeking a capital murder conviction against Ramos for the 2006 murder of Carmen Jacobson. Prosecutors say she and two others strangled the 77 year-old during a robbery in her home. Alfonso Granados Lucas plead guilty for that same crime last November and Lucas is sentenced to life in prison for the crime.
Ramos is in jail with no bond and she has been there since her arrest in January 2006.
