The City of Brownsville is in the process of changing a street name to honor ICE agent Jaime Zapata who was killed in an ambush in Mexico.
If you drive by the intersection of Paredes Line road and Coffee Port, you will see that the name Coffeeport is no longer on the sign. That's because under a resolution by city commissioners the name is being changed to Jaime Zapata Avenue. Special Agent Zapata was killed in an ambush in San Louis Potosi, Mexico in February.
