While many college students are enjoying spring break a few UTB/TSC students are helping out their community.
Several students joined with Rio Bravo Wildlife to help build a few new projects at Lincoln Park in Brownsville. Students got their hands dirty by digging trenches, planting seeds and clearing out bamboo brush. Members of the organization say it means a lot to see college students giving back on their time off.
UTB/TSC students weren't the only helping hands giving back also volunteers from the Center for Civic Engagement, the Aspire Program and the Brownsville Beautification Committee joined in the effort.
