A woman who racked up more than $15,000 dollars in traffic tickets then went to jail for her unpaid warrants in January is back behind bars
Valarie Sanchez of Harlingen is once again in trouble with police for not paying off outstanding traffic citations.
The average person might get one or two traffic tickets and pay them at the municipal court. It's a different story for Valarie Sanchez.
She was arrested on 49 outstanding muncipal court warrants.
Police have arrested Sanchez two times in the last two years for not paying citations. This is Sanchez being arraigned back in January of 2008 when she had 76 outstanding warrants. Sanchez was put on a payment plan but did not make all the payments.
Sanchez remains in Harlingen jail on a $15,000 bond.
She will face a municipal judge on Friday to discuss her 49 outstanding municipal warrants.
