Fire investigators say they do not plan to investigate further in the cause of a grass fire that sparked up south of the Brownsville/South Padre Island International Airport.
Several fire units responded to the fire which originated in the middle of a brushy area and spread outward. The fire burned nearly 50 yards from homes that lined down Dakota street. Fire investigators say there's no need to investigate further because no injuries or buildings were damaged.
