Chicago's Urban Prep Academy is celebrating an amazing achievement.
Every member of the academy's senior class has been accepted into college.
It's the second time in the school's two year history that they've been able to accomplish that goal.
"No other public school in the country has done this," CEO and founder of Urban Prep Tim King said.
Indeed, it was a momentous accomplishment for the all-male charter school and graduates of the program.
"We are Urban Prep men," said Israel Wilson, a 2010 graduate and student at Morehouse College. "And at Urban Prep, we believe."
Chicago's mayor lauded the school's efforts and congratulated students for accepting the challenge given to them when they enrolled.
"When you are accepted, there are no excuses," Mayor Richard Daley said. "They said we believe in you, are going to make you independent."
Last year marked Urban Prep's first year of perfect college acceptance among seniors.
Going forward, the school doesn't plan to stop at two.
"We need more schools like this," Daley said.
