Brownsville's Texting Ban to be Enforced

The texting ban in Brownsville is in full effect as the city has reported that there is no grace period for drivers caught texting while operating their vehicles.

City commissioners unanimously passed the no texting ordinance at Tuesday's meeting and a driver breaking the law could receive a ticket of up to $500 dollars.
