A woman is charged with child endangerment after being caught on tape driving down a neighborhood street with her 9 year-old child on the hood.
It happened on Saturday around 4:30pm on Carranza street and a man called police telling them he was watching as the woman drove the car with her child on the hood. On April 14th a similar case involving a mother and son happened in the City of Pharr resulting in the child's death and the mother being charged with murder.
The mother in this case is Evelina Alvarado, who admitted to driving with her son on the hood. She was arrested for child endangerment and released on a $5,000 dollar bond.
