MCALLEN - South Texas College Technology Campus kicks off their Women in Business and Technology Series.
The three part series is designed to inform the public and women about challenges still today's society that face women business owners and workers.
STC is inviting local female business owners and workers to come and share their experiences in the field.
One new business owner said she feels finding a balance between family and work is the biggest obstacle.
"I think as a woman it's especially difficult because of the balance between home. I still have responsibilities as a wife and mother, and the business of course, I have staff that depend on me. So that I think is the biggest challenge," said Yvonne Lim, Bounce Inflatable Fun Owner.
The next sessions will be March 2nd from 1-2 p.m. and April 12th from 1-2 p.m. in the STC Technology Campus Auditorium.
