Hidalgo county gets $3 million dollars in federal funding.

Hidalgo county and the City of McAllen are receiving almost $3 million dollars in federal funding.

At McAllen City Hall, Congressman Henry Cuellar announced the funds will go to Hidalgo county and the City of McAllen's Community Development Block Grant programs. Something Cuellar feels is not only beneficial to better our communities, but also our local economy.
