Seventeen year old Anthony D. Le has been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, indecency with a child and public intoxication. His alleged victim is just eleven years old.
The alleged assault happened over the weekend at a private party being held at the Brownsville Event Center. Roughly 800 people were in attendance at the gathering; a large number of them, kids and teenagers.
Shortly before midnight, a party-goer at the event sought out authorities...
"The citizen told officers working security that there was some unusual activity happening inside the men's restroom." said Brownsville Police Dept. , PIO, Eddie Garcia.
The officers working security made their way through the crowd, into the men's bathroom. There they found several teens pointing to a stall. Officers then noticed two sets of feet. Police knocked on the door and pushed it open to find Le and the young girl engaging in sexual intercourse.
"It was found both of them appeared to be under the influence, that they had been consuming alcohol." said Garcia.
The two exited the bathroom and Le was arrested.
The manager for the events center says nothing like this has ever happened in the 10 years the building has been operating. Meanwhile, Le has been given a 200-thousand dollar bond.
