I was not a diabetic until a year ago tomorrow. I had gall stones and when my gall bladder was removed back in 2009 I developed a pseudo cyst when my pancreas becames disturbed during gall bladder removal. I ended up with chronic pancreatitis and lived with it until finally had a life saving surgery (total pancreatectomy with auto islet transplant) last year and has made me a diabetic, I do have a chance of someday that being reversed.Lack of exercise and poor diet had nothing to do with it.
