Zoo keeper killed in elephant attack

A zoo keeper at zoo in Springfield Missouri died today after he was attacked by aggressive elephant.

(KYTV) An elephant charged and killed an animal keeper at Dickerson Park Zoo on Friday morning.

Zoo directors say he was John Bradford, 62.

Bradford worked at the zoo for 25 years.

Zookeepers say Patience, a 41-year-old female elephant, got aggressive with Bradford and charged.

There were other workers at the barn.

The Springfield Police Department Chaplain is investigating.
