ALTON - It's every Little Leaguers dream to make it to the Major League, but one lucky group of players got to experience in meeting one World Series player.

World Series champion and starting pitcher Jaime Garcia made an appearance at  a local baseball field in Alton. Garcia shared some tips, signed autographs and took pictures with fans at the event. Little League Coach Albert Alaniz said, "This is what we want, to expose the talent down here where maybe they can get a college degree or maybe a major league baseball contract. This was never offered to the kids before, so I'm excited and we are all excited."

More than hundred baseball players were on hand to meet Garcia who also played high school ball at Sharyland high school.
