Workers FInd Bones in Hidalgo Field

Hidalgo county sheriffs are investigating a possible homicide near Alamo.

Two workers were cutting grass and found the skeletal remains on Pecina Road off of Alamo road. Investigators gathered evidence all morning and into the afternoon. They say the remains appear to belong to a man and evidence gathered indicates this may be a homicide.

Officials found local phone numbers in one of the pant pockets that belonged to the man will contact those people who may know him. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
