An elderly woman is dead after a car hit her outside of her home on Friday morning.

Officers arrested a man in connection with the death of the woman and charged him with intoxication manslaughter. Police did not release any information on the case, but neighbors did say the woman's husband is also in the hospital because he was hit by the same vehicle.
