Woman Attempts Smuggling Methamphetamine Inside Food Cans

More than $100,000 dollars worth of methamphetamine was seized in food cans carried by a woman attempting to cross a port of entry in Brownsville.

Custom officials report the incident happened on Sunday at the Veterans International bridge when the female was crossing the port of entry and sent by Custom officers to a secondary inspection. During the inspection of the woman's baggage Custom officers discovered five packages of meth inside five food cans. The woman was turned over to ICE agents for further investigation.
