McALLEN - Most Winter Texans come to the Valley for the weather, but Eleanor and Stanley Skeaval, from Minnesota, volunteer their time for the Salvation Army.

They live at the McAllen mobile park and have been volunteering their time for nearly fifteen years. We asked them about  their decision to spend time helping others and they said, "Our promotion from our court was to help the Salvation Army so we bring in lot's of money by ringing bells for them. Well we don't count anything, it's just whatever comes in, that's just fine with us."

The Skeavals are involved in several other volunteer efforts and say it's a favorite part of their South Texas Holiday season.
