Police are looking for suspects involved in a Weslaco stabbing over the weekend.

Weslaco police said they received a call early Saturday morning about a male subject being stabbed at Buffalo Wings and Rings.

Police said the victim is 35 year old Jose Luis Serna.

Police said a fight broke out inside the restaurant. Serna then ran outside to escape. He was followed to the east side of the building and then stabbed several times.

"At that time he was airlifted to Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. From there he was in critical condition, went into surgery, taken out of surgery. Right now he's is in similar conditions, but he is improving from what the doctors have told us," said Danny Elizondo, Weslaco Police Department.

Police said Serna was stabbed twice in the chest, twice in the stomach and repeatedly in the back.

Police are in the process of getting video from the restaurant.

They have several suspects in mind, but are still asking that if you know anything about this incident to please call 986-TIPS or 986-8477.
