Weight Loss Goals This Year

Many people are taking advantage of the start of a new year to re-focus their weight loss goals. But experts say people should make gradual step towards a healthier living and set realistic goals.

Weight Loss Nurse for Valley Baptist Health Systems says people should follow these recommendations:

-Do not drink liquids while eating
-Do not eat in between meals
-Stop eating as soon as you feel full
-Eat slowly and chew thoroughly
-Eat only good quality food
-Drink enough fluids during the day
-Drink only low-calorie liquids
-Three small meals a day
-Take small bites of food
-Exercise at least 30 minutes a day
