Wanted Local Fugative Released from Mexican Jail

A Brownsville man wanted by police for the armed robbery of a quarter million dollars is now out of a Mexican jail.

Mexican authorities picked up Hector Garza when he ran to Mexico to avoid charges here and Brownsville police pursued him on Wednesday morning and Mexican authorities picked him up. He posted bond at the Mexican jail where he's was charged with illegally crossing the border with ammunition.

Brownsville police want Garza for the February robbery of $250,000 dollars and that he may be linked to the Wednesday morning shooting that left Daniel Morales shot in the leg.
