Victim's Sister Testifies in Capital Murder Trial
BROWNSVILLE - The capital murder of Mexican mafia member Wilfredo Padilla continued with the victim's sister taking the stand on Monday.
She testified how she knew Padilla and what kind of relationship he had with her sister, Jo Ann Chavez, who was kidnapped from Valle Vista Mall back in 2003. Chavez's remains were found two years later in a field in Willacy county. Padilla is one of ten suspects accused in the murder of Jo Ann Chavez.
