Veterans Bike Across Texas

Veterans from all over Texas hit Highway 83 to remember veterans who died fighting for our country in vietnam.
Veterans have revved up their motorcycles, Last stop, Brownsville.
"We start at the Oklahoma/Texas border, Highway 83. It was a four day drive, here to Brownsville."
Desert Strom war veteran, Chuck Bayes and his wife Cindy, hit Highway-83, also known as Vietnam Veterans Highway,on their Harley.
"I came to support my husband, and it's been a fantastic ride."
They say, all the mileage, is worth it.
So far we traveled a little over 1200 miles," she says.
"We do it in memorial, and especially me i'm a vet, we do it in memorial for the vietnam vets that didn't get a welcome home."
Brownsville's Veterans Park was filled with hog riders who say, this ride was all about unity and support.
"I've had relatives who were in previous wars, so it was really important to me."
