As President Barack Obama raised hit right hand while swearing an oath to country, millions of people across the nation are wondering what the next four years will bring.

Here in the valley, folks are wondering the same thing.

"I want to boost a little of the economy, because they are struggling everywhere," said a McAllen resident.

"I'd like to see more of the same," said a McAllen resident.

"Our budget needs help, we need to stop spending and start saving but i realize that probably means taxes will probably have to go up," said a McAllen resident.

Each person had a different issue on their mind, but one issue continued to come up.

"I like a lot the gun control, the plan they are really having. I wish I could see that come through," said a McAllen resident.

"To really push this gun control. That's why a lot of innocent people, young kids are getting killed," said a McAllen resident.

Others wanted to see more change from one branch of our governing body.

"Less divided in Congress, our Congress is so divided from the last four years, I think we need to get together and stop this division," said a McAllen resident.

And a few had their mind on overseas issues.

"I would like the situation in the Middle East to improve," said a McAllen resident.

Most people interviewed knew about the President's Inauguration, but about a third of the 50 people interviewed had no preference at all for the next four years.

"Ya know what, if everyone else is happy, I am happy. I really have no political opinion."
