Valley International Airport gets funds

HARLINGEN, TX (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — Valley International Airport in Harlingen has been awarded over a million dollars from the U.S. Department of Transportation.
The $1,083,500 will be used to purchase an aircraft rescue & fire fighting vehicle.
In addition, it will be used to reconstruct the southern portion of Taxiway H, and relocate power poles on Runway 31.
Valley International Airport serves nearly 700,000 passengers and visitors each year.
