Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Against Anti-Immigrant Legislation

Members of local grass roots organization in the Valley are preparing to fight against what they call are anti-immigrant legislation in the State of Texas.
The Rio Grande Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce says there are about 50 anti-immigrant and anti-Hispanic bills to be decided this legislative session. Cynthia Sakulenzki, President and CEO of the Chamber, says they plan to inform legislators, who are not from the Valley, that these anti Hispanic bills are raising concerns within the community.
The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce says it represents the whole Valley and not just in business issues, but in issues affecting the Hispanic community.
