Valley Cities Ranked on List for Least Expensive Places to Retire

SAN BENITO - The City of San Benito was ranked in the top 10 by a report for the least expensive place for retirees to live in.

The report by an NJC certified public accountant and a financial planner compiled a list of the top 100 least expensive places to retire in the United States this year. The City of San Benito was ranked 10th, Brownsville ranked 32nd, Raymondville ranked 42nd, Harlingen ranked 75th and Mercedes was ranked 93rd on the list.
