Valley Baptist Medical Center to host Parkinson's Q&A
HARLINGEN, TEXAS (NEWS CENTER 23) — It's a disease that effects the brain and the movement of the body, Parkinson's, and on Tuesday the 29th Valley Baptist Medical Center will be holding a speakiing event on the subject. Neurosurgeon Dr. Alejandro Betancourt will be a guest speaker on the disease and will be answering questions from the pubic at the event. Dr. Betancourt stated, "It's a disease that does not have a cure, but it can be treated. We can treat the patients, that we can make the lives of the patients easier and more manageable." The event is scheduled to take place at 6:30 PM in Harlingen.
