UTPA's Spring Break Camp Keeping Kids Busy
Kids of all ages are excited to finally be on Spring Break, but many employed parents have trouble finding someone to look after their children when they are at work. Erin Murray found a spring break solution for many parents facing this problem.
Going on a spring break trip is normally a must for college students, but 8 year-olds normally don't have the chance of choosing what they want to do for Spring Break. Especially if their parents work and that's why UTPA is offering a Spring Break camp for kids 6 to 11 years of age. This is the first year UTPA has offered a camp, but many of the children involved already knew what to expect.
Even though many of these children's parents suggested a spring break camp, a few of the kids told their parents they wanted something to do, so they weren't by themselves. Everyday children go from activity to activity to make sure they never get bored or lonely. For more information visit: http://portal.utpa.edu/utpa_main/dess_home/dos_home/dos_wrsc/wrsc_youth_...
