UTPA to Offer Degree Program for Future Head Start Educators
A new degree program will soon be available at the University of Texas Pan American that will prepare educators to become qualified teachers in Head Start programs, Sandra Quintanilla reports this program comes at a good time.
UTPA' s Child Development Center is proud of it's professional staff. They either own the credentials required to teach here or have a college diploma. While their extensive educational background is a big plus for the university's center and the young ones enrolled here, a Bachelor's degree is not needed in this setting or any other early care facilities, but that's about to change next year for those who work or are considering employment in Head Start programs in Texas.
