UTB's Educational Technology Program Ranked U.S. News and World Report Magazine

BROWNSVILLE - The University of Texas at Brownsville has one of the top 15 programs in the nation to be ranked in the U.S. News and World Report magazine.
The university's online Master's degree program in Educational Technology was ranked 14th out of 151 U.S. institutions of higher education for 2012 and is one of four universities from Texas in the top 15 nationwide. Criteria for ranking the programs included demonstrating diverse online learning technologies for enhancing the learner's experience, providing extensive mentoring and tutoring support services for the online learner. UTB President Juliet Garcia stated, "It launches us forward especially an autonomous university. It says we are here and the quality is comparable to the top in the nation."
UTB will celebrate it's 20th anniversary for the College of Education this Friday.
