UTB to host discussion on mental health and youth
BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — The University of Texas at Brownsville will be hosting a town hall event discussing mental health and youth in the Rio Grande Valley.
The evening will feature a screening of the documentary "A Reason to Live" and a panel discussion led by Dr. Eugenia Curet, Director of the Student Health Services.
Also attending the discussion will be psychiatrist Dr. Francisco Torres, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Daniel Gutierrez and Becky Tresnicky Director of Valley Baptist Behavioral Health Services in Brownsville.
The town hall event is scheduled at the Science, Engineering and Technology Building Lecture Hall Fort Brown Campus from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10th.
