Custom and Border Protection officials are reminding travelers about the CBP's AM radio that offers tips and information on traveling into Mexico.

The CBP's 1610 AM radio broadcast has been installed, at the Gateway International port of entry, since 2012, and transmits important border crossing information in English and Spanish.

Some of the information includes reminders of document requirements, information about Trusted Traveler Programs, border crossing rules and regulations, and wait times at each of the three Brownsville port of entries, Gateway, B & M and Veterans, within a five mile radius.

CBP believes an informed and educated traveler is an efficient traveler and they are always looking for new ways to communicate important information to them.
