U.S. Border Patrol Seizes 11 Tons of Marijuana in 5 Days

Rio Grande Valley - U.S. Border Patrol has seized just over 11 tons of marijuana.
The larges bust happened on Tuesday at the Falfurrias checkpoint. A man attempted to drive a tractor trailer loaded with cottonseed through the checkpoint, but a Border Patrol K-9 detected the suspicious smell.
During inspection, agents found almost 12 thousand pounds of marijuana hidden in the cottonseed.
In total, Border Patrol seized around $22.4 million worth of marijuana in just five days.
