United Parcel Service is now flying cargo out of the McAllen International airport on a daily schedule.

The flights will allow customers the flexibility of later pickup times while connecting to 220 countries around the world. The flights can carry nearly 90,000 pounds of freight and the cargo facility will produce about thirty new jobs. UPS Southwest Division Manager Roger Rosas stated, "I am like a kid at a candy store, we have a new toy, we want to make sure everyone knows about it, we are extremely happy and extremely happy to  be part of the community."
