Two suspects have been arrested in a stabbing case which occured on Sunday morning.

EMS was called out to a home on the 2000 block of Corpus Christi Drive and had to force their way in through a chain link fence to get to the victim.

Police said Chelsea Garcia, 20, was found laying in the bathroom in a pool of her own blood and was airlifted to a McAllen hospital.

The female victim was stabbed in the chest and because of the severity of the wound, she had to be air lifted to McAllen Medical.

Ms. Garcia, who is in critical condition, provided details to police about the suspects in the assault.

Both suspects are arraigned before a Weslaco Municipal Judge on Wednesday and both have a bail of $500,000.
