University Police Continue Search for Kidnapping Suspects

Police continue to investigate the kidnapping case that happened on the campus of the University of Pan American of a female student. Police have arrested 35 year-old Miguel Navarro on Wednesday and he has been charged with aggravated kidnapping. Police say Navarro is one of three suspects believed to be involved in the kidnapping of the student and the motive was to receive ransom money from her family. The ransom was never paid and the victim was released by her captors and reunited back with her family. Police are working with the FBI in assisting of the investigation and the arrest of the two other suspects.
