Drivers in Harlingen got a little frustrated on Friday afternoon as they were struck along Tyler street for close to 30 minutes.
Union Pacific was changing cars at the switch yard causing delays as the train went back and forth on Tyler with the stop bars and warning signals on. Traffic was backed up to the expressway and Winter Texan John Connely says he was not a happy camper while waiting.
Harlingen residents say this is a daily problem and the city has been talking about the possibility of moving the switch yard to Olimito and for now no plans have gone forward.
